1. What started you to play squash?
คุณเริ่มเล่นกีฬาสควอชเพราะอะไร?

I went to boarding school in the UK and no one wanted to play tennis with me in the winter term so I decided to give squash a go since it also involved using a racket. The rest is history.

2. What has been your best achievement (highlight) so far?
ความประทับใจหรือผลงานจากกีฬานี้

Nothing I am proud of yet. (But squash has given me a very firm ass).

3. What is your ultimate goal for squash?

จุดมุ่งหมายของคุณจากการเล่นสควอช

I would like squash to make it into the 2024 Olympic and it would be the greatest honor for an athlete to represent his country at the Olympics; it would be the pinnacle of my playing career.

As for the game itself, I want to reach a point where i can play in the state of bliss and enter the ZONE by command. This way I hope my game will look like “art” to the spectators.

I consider myself a very active person having started playing sport at the age of 4 so I think my opinion will hold a lot of weight here when I say squash is the most cardio-intensive sport and hence the “healthiest” sport on earth. (And I’ve tried everything from tennis to rugby to even boxing).

Play squash if you:

– want to lose weight quickly (baring in mind you don’t overeat)
– get a sexy ass
– avoid the sun and maintain nice/beautiful skin etc (looking at you girls here)
– improve your lung and heart health (my heart bpm is around 47, my VO2 max is 60)
– HAVE FUN

Squash is very easy to start playing. The “net” is very low ensuring rallies can go on for a long time making it fun for beginners. You also don’t have to run around to pick up the balls from far away!!!. Give it a go!

Oh and don’t forget to wear Goggles if you are a beginner!

From the outside squash may look like an ordinary racket sport, but due to the different angles and walls you can utilise, squash involves a lot of strategic thinking akin to chess. It is very common to see older (like a lot older) and more experience players schooling younger guys on court due to their superior understanding of the ball and game.
Squash is so exciting because there is so many different areas you can work on in order to get better. This means you can never stop improving!
