The Thai National Team took part in the 5th SEA Cup competition in Manila during 8-14 May 2019.
There were 6 countries participating and there were 2 events. Men and Women’s individuals and Mixed Team event.
Thailand’s number 1 had a good run in the individuals match beating Indonesia’s number 1 in a tight 5 setter. While Thailand’s number 2 managed to beat Brunei’s number 1 but came up short to Indonesia’s number 2.
In the team event, Thailand was in the pool with Philippines and Indonesia. The Thai team put up a good fight but the other two countries were too strong for them to hold back. Leading them to have a final showdown with Brunei for the 5th and 6th place.
After a week of completing, the Thai team gathered a lot of new experiences and plan the road ahead to this year’s SEA Games.
